Conditions Supported

The rapid rise of chronic disease, including heart disease, diabetes, and arthritis, is devastating our ability to thrive. Approximately half of all adults have one or more chronic health conditions and a quarter of adults have two or more chronic health conditions. Comprehensive, integrated, support is necessary to reduce risk factors associated with chronic disease.

Chiropractic care involves the assessment and adjustment of dysfunctional joints of the spine and extremities. When joints don’t move through the appropriate ranges of motion the brain does not receive information regarding where our body is relative to our surroundings. This creates a breakdown in the ability of the body to communicate with the mind.

We perform a detailed movement assessment to determine the appropriate use of chiropractic adjustments. We follow this up with functional rehabilitative exercises to “reset” the brain and to promote a new ideal movement pattern.

Acupuncture is a form of care that draws from principles formulated thousands of years ago. Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) used diligent observation to study the flow of energy. We combine TCM practices with a modern understanding of the brain to promote a balanced body with acupuncture.

Our treatment begins with a thorough examination that ultimately allows the patient’s individual symptoms, biomechanical dysfunction, and other criteria to point to internal disharmony. This is corrected over a series of visits involving the use of needles or pressure along certain points on the meridians to allow for proper energy flow. It is an effective tool used to reduce stress and chronic pain, improve sleep, and enhance energy.

Functional Medicine involves the use of a very detailed history, examination, and comprehensive blood workup to establish the root cause of the patient’s presentation. Each care plan is unique and individualized. This approach takes into consideration nutrition, lifestyle, stress, movement, and addresses the individual’s underlying dysfunction rather than just the symptoms.

Following the initial workup, the findings and plan of action are thoroughly discussed with the patient. We strive to give you all the tools necessary to take control of your health. As we stated in our mission statement, it is our goal to empower you with the appropriate tools and knowledge to live a healthy lifestyle. Chiropractic and acupuncture are commonly recommended in conjunction with this model of care.

The Triggers

Let Your Body Experience Optimum Health

At CAMP, we have identified certain triggers to assess when trying to establish optimal health.

Stress

Chronic stress can cause physical changes. It plays a significant role in the epidemic of chronic disease.

Nutrition

Food can contribute to inflammation or help to dampen it. Consuming whole foods that support an individual’s chemistry can help to reduce risk factors for chronic disease.

Movement

A lack of movement promotes poor health and improper movements can contribute to injury.

Hormones

Hormone imbalances hinder our ability to express optimal health.
